2026.06 Getting serious about sailing again. Winston is still around. Cassandra (and Auto) spent 3 years in Grenada during Covid and eventual was sold to someone who was prepared to make the trip back north.
ENCORE is a J27 in Melbourne Fl. A work in progress. Melbourne Yacht Club is a social and semi-serious racing hub but 1.5 hours from home. We sailed with a lovely crew of ladies in the MYC 48th? Mermaid Regatta. As always it was a wonderful event. So many women out sailing. Lots of good fun and conversation back at MYC for drinks and a delicious dinner.
Halifax Sailing Association is 20 minutes from home. It is dinghy sailing there since hurricane Milton took out the floating dock. We applied for and received a grant from the Recreation for the majority of the funding to rebuild the dock. Slow progress on that project.
