Passage to Grenada

Off the dock at Yacht Club Port De Plaisance in Sint Maarten at 8 and out the 8:30 bridge opening. Other boats leaving included a large sailboat Gigi and I Love Poland a Volvo 60.

Forecast looked promising. Less wind than the previous several days so a better weather window to make the 370 km passage direct to Grenada where Cassandra will be hauled out and stored through hurricane season.

Al Burnett who crewed with us for the Multihull Challenge was available to come along.

11:30 pm. 100 miles in the first 12 hours. Wind has not let up. Al is very seasick and miserable. Mike is snoozing.
