2nd Annual Caribbean Multihull Challenge 2020

Nice event organized by Sint Maarten Yacht Club. 20 boats. Cats and tris. High winds.
We did the 2 races on Friday. Trust a tri was the only other boat that raced in our class. Only half the boats registered actually raced. Others rely gusts of 40 kts.
We were second in both races. But we we much better in the second race once we had had some practice and learned a bit about the boat.
The screecher was working all until the swivel separated from the head. Full stop as we retrieved the sail. Good sail on the last weather leg to the finish where we we able to stay ahead of Tortuga an Outremer 45 4x. – new and fast.
Skipped the races Sat to Grand Case on the French side and return race Sun. Went to the parties though. Dinner at Captain Frenchy
