Although it isn’t clear in this picture – outside looking in, there are hundreds of mega yachts in the huge bay beyond the bridge we are approaching. It goes up on a tight schedule – in bound on the hour, outbound on the half hour. These mega yachts all had to come through this little gap. It’s the only way in or out.
Once inside, there are boats everywhere! Most of the “small” boats (less than 70 ft) are anchored. Larger boats and mega yachts are all at the marinas that now cater to the big boats.
We “won” free docking at the Yacht Club at P D P for both regattas so we have been at a side-tie in one of the marinas – unusual for little guys like us.
