Great lunch at Hendo’s Hideout in White Bay. Vegetable Roti was really good and came with a nice green salad.

A rain squall came through so we were joined by Carie and Elizabeth who were on Elizabeth’s family’s Voyage 50 catamaran. ? Spellbound. Manufactured in South Africa, her father had sailed it to the BVI to be in the charter fleet here. Unfortunately during hurricane Irma, the boat flipped and sat inverted and submerged for 3 months before it was rescued and righted. The interior was trashed, but the hull was salvageable. Her dad took this on as a project and has overseen and helped with the restoration.

As we were leaving we spotted a gentleman in a St. Augustine Race Week hat. Yes, he sails his boat Monkey’s Uncle in the regatta each year. He and his wife are here on the small cruise ship Star anchored off Great Harbour that arrived before dawn this morning. Their shuttle boats have been busy back and forth to the ferry dock where passengers and take the free shuttle to White Bay.
