Cassandra

spinakerCassandra is a 1989 Catana 39. Built in France by one of the builders of performance racing boats, she is light and lively, although somewhat light in storage and amenities often found in charter cats today.

The previous owner was in the solar power business and outfitted the boat with a substantial solar panel with sufficient capacity to power all the electrics – engine batteries, navigation, communication, refrigeration and electronics charging via the inverter. There is no generator, no noise, no requirement to run the engine for hours, .. We make coffee on the propane stove in a nice French press cast off from #1 kid.

This picture is from a previous listing – before our time.

Too? Yes, our Dufour 45 was called Cassandra as well. Yes, it is somewhat confusing. Mike likes the name and sees no reason to pick something else.
